On 8 April, Chancellor of Justice of Estonia Ülle Madise participated in the conference "45th Anniversary of the Ombudsman of the Lazio Region" in Rome, at the invitation of Marino Fardelli, Ombudsman of the Lazio Region. She delivered a speech on the topic of artificial intelligence.
In her address, Madise focused on the role of the Chancellor of Justice in the age of generative artificial intelligence, highlighting the need to protect human rights amid rapidly advancing technologies.
While in Rome, Ülle Madise also met with Estonia’s Ambassador to Italy, Lauri Bambus, and learned more about the work of the Estonian Embassy in Italy.
