At the training seminar organized by the Office of the Chancellor of Justice, technological, legal, and ethical issues related to the use of artificial intelligence were discussed. The role of ombudspersons in overseeing public services utilizing AI algorithms was also addressed. As artificial intelligence is developing rapidly, it is important to ensure its use adheres to human rights, the principles of the rule of law, and democratic values.

The training seminar was organised by the Chancellor of Justice of Estonia and the e-Governance Academy, with support from the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI).
