The Chancellor of Justice will meet with the President of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma at 11 am today, on 20 May, in order to present the 2012 Overview of the Chancellor of Justice to the Riigikogu.
The Overview of the Chancellor of Justice describes the Chancellor’s activities in the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms as well as in the area of constitutional review, and it also highlights the activities of the Chancellor as a preventive mechanism and describes the activities of the Ombudsman for Children in 2012. In addition to the above the overview also contains information about the performance of many other tasks assigned to the Chancellor of Justice.
The Chancellor of Justice will deliver his annual overview presentation in the Riigikogu in autumn.
