The Advisory Committee was created on 15 November 2011 with an aim to include children in discussions on important issues relating to them, to give them a chance to express their opinions and to raise children related issues.
The task of the Advisory Committee is to support the Ombudsman for Children in his activities as a representative of children, introducer of children's rights and administrator.
The members of the Advisory Committee to the Ombudsman for Children are under 18-year old children from various children's and youth organisations.
